At KIRALIA, we are strategic partners of iLOQ, the innovative Finnish access control solution that uses battery-free digital cylinders. This technology combines the advantages of electronic systems with the convenience of not needing an external power source; the mechanical cylinder generates its own energy by harnessing the movement of the key when inserting it. Additionally, it is designed to allow interaction with smart cylinders from a smartphone via NFC.
iLOQ technologies address the main drawbacks of mechanical systems:
- One key for everything: Access all the cylinders assigned to each user with a single key.
- Easy installation: Compatible with any lock using Europrofile cylinders.
- Impossible to copy keys: Access rights depend on an encrypted chip and management via cloud software, not the shape of the key.
- Lost keys without the need to change the cylinder: Simply exclude the lost key from the system by notifying the cylinder.
- Total flexibility: Modify access permissions as many times as needed for each key.
- D2D (Device to Device) technology: Allows the transmission of access permission information through the opening devices themselves, as well as remote activation or deactivation of permissions.
